Testimonial for Think and Grow Fit

Hello Mark, I just read your book and wanted to thank you for all your hard mental and physcial labors. You've got a great sense of humor and present the crux of the problem most people face in getting the best out of life.  I am constantly getting the question from my parents, "Can you give my child a DIET to help him/her lose weight ?", after hearing the latest TV flash that there are way too many overweight people and children in the USA.  I have to explain that the USA doesn't have a dietary problem, but are suffering from PPM  (piss poor mood) and UFAI (using food as intertainment). Instead of the JOY of cooking they need to discover the Joy of MOVING and THINKING.  They need to MOVE and CREATE.

I could go on but just wanted to say your book certainly addresses all of the big road blocks people confront in attempting to get fit,  and even become a rather impressive athlete.  One old guy told me once that the most important organ in his body was his legs !

I have been a bicycle rider all my life but in the past ten years (I'm 72) I have become more focused on endurance riding.  I ride 2 to 3 times per week and average 100 miles/week between March 1 and Nove 30. I wish I could spend more time in January a few hunddred miles south of here. Of course I kiss my pills every morning and am thankful that modern science showed up in time for my life!

Best regards and thanks again,

Bob Dickey
