Are You a Certifiable Health Nut
What does it take to become a Health Nut?
Clearly, Health Nut is a put down which typically comes from the Normal Majority. These are your friends relatives and neighbors whom you consider to be the salt of the earth. They are the folks you celbrate the Fourt with, send Christmas cards to, do favors for.
Sadly, these important people have trouble with those who try to live in optimally healthy ways. That means being into daily sixty minute workouts, intelligent supplementation and low fat dieting. It also means being into things like green tea capsules instead of that sandwhich to "tide you over" or that quitting your workout early 'cuz you you just don't seem to have it today.
If you can do all of those things, not just one or two, I will dub you Health Nut. That's how they made knights back in King Arthur times. You did a certain number of good deeds and Arthur made you knight of the Round Table.
Today, doing these types of things gets you labeled. If this doesn't come from others (only because you're smart enough to keep your living habits under wraps) it comes from you. These are things mother never would have approved of unless of course you were out for the team hoping to win the state meet. Then it might have been OK, if you were sure to revert back to ez living and homade apple pie during the off seasons.
Health Nut so defined should be replaced by health conscious and it should be OK. I trust you do agree with me on that, don't you?Hint:: there might be an awfully larger number of healthy people in the USA today, ergo lesser health care costs.
