How Long Does It Take To Get In Shape
If you start working out today you will start seeing changes in 6 months. That is an easy way of saying that real transformations do not come overnight. But they don't take forever either.
I think the biggest problem with most folks is that they give up way too early. In my book I continually talk about the burnout which health club owners see after the start of the New Year. Lots of folks start on Jan 2; very few are still there for March 1.
You have got to get it through your head that it takes time, PERIOD. And that's whether you're 28 or 68! Just because you don't see results when you think you should, it does not mean that there isn't something going on inside of you. There is. All you need to do is put yourself on cruise control and simply don't stop.
There's all sorts of "good"reasons why you shouldn't waste your time trying. All fo thse are lies--lies your friends, relatives and neighbors--the Normal Majority tell you. Just ignore them and subscribe to this blog. (I'm a better friend on this than you other "friends".)
