How did we get to be a nation of "take it easys". Granted people nowadays say have a great day but this still means have an easy one. No one tells anybody to work hard. When I think about it I really wonder if hard work ever pays off any more. So maybe the take it easy people are not as bad as I'm implying. After all you work hard for thirty years and you get a gold watch but find out at the same time that you won't get your pension. Then too there is always the help Uncle Bernie Madoff types to follow in the footsteps of Enron. Give these guys your hard earned money and you wind up poor. Then too and much more to the point you should work hard at your exercise program and watch the pounds melt away. Of course they don't and everyone right next to you at the club keeps on looking the same. So where's the good end in working hard? It takes a long time that's all. It just does not come over night, but it comes. That's the good news and that's what I'm selling!
