Dare to be a Health Nut

I received a request to talk about breaking bad habits. My respose is simply "Dare to be a Health Nut". This assumes that my requester is talking about health habits such as dollar burger and Mountain Dew consumption. She may not be, in which case I should apologize.

So many people today are into the fun easy cheap ways of getting fed.I think this is the start of a bad trend here in the US--one which is augmented by sitting in front of a computer screen (being sedentary.) My belief is that we do these things CHIEFLY because they are NORMAL. In other words, EVERYBODY does them and therefore we SHOULD. That's becauase we don't want to feel weird, for lack of a better word.

Therefore I am suggesting that you dare to Be a Health Nut and trust that in a few short years, my book, "Think and Grow Fit" (A rational person's guide to optimal health) will make the term "Health Nut" as un-American as the word "girl" instead of woman. When that happens it will be far easier to break the bad habits which really are VERY bad for all of us!

Check out my website http://www.foreverfitness.info/ if you might want to see what aging "health Nuts" look like. The youngest person there is 42 yr old Gold Medalist Dara Torres. Everyone else is "up there". But I sincerely doubt that you'll hold their ages against them.
